Tyler The Creator And Kali Uchis Play A Chill Piano
“See You Again,” the latest single from Tyler, The Creator’s Flower Boy LP, is getting some airplay on US radio right now. This, , is a rarity for a guy whose idiosyncrasies scared mainstream stations off. But Flower Boy reached number 2 on the US Billboard Charts, and the Golf Wang founder has broken through on his own terms. He is extremely happy about this:
After performing “See You Again” on Fallonthe other week, Tyler posted a video of he and Kali Uchis playing a “random acoustic version” of the song this morning. Tyler plays an upright piano and doesn’t miss a beat when he raps his verse (I imagine that this is an extremely difficult skill. Uchis smolders through her verses as she does on record andeven with the smartphone sound quality and the untempered volume of the pianoit’s worth listening to below.
