Alesis Recital Review : Best 88

If youre looking for Alesis Recital Review then youre at the right place. In this Alesis Recital review article, well give you a complete guideline of Alesis Recital review. Alesis has been a leading maker of cutting-edge electronic instruments since the mid-1980s, including a sleek range of electronic pianos.
Among their electronic instruments are electronic drum machines and digital audio interfaces as well as a large selection of professional recording equipment. Since its inception, Alesis has worked relentlessly to supply its customers with state-of-the-art equipment for studio or live performances. However, the digital audio company Alesis is well-known in the world of digital pianos and synthesizers.
However, well be focusing our attention on their piano and keyboards rather than their other products, which include audio interface products such as speakers, and drum machine sets.
Therefore, there is a reason Alesis isnt as well-known, and its not simply because theyve only been there for a short period. Alesis keyboards have never impressed me, even though my experiences are subjective.
I was a bit concerned when Alesis introduced their new keyboards. Semi-weighted keys are more difficult to master than their unweighted counterparts. With the Alesis Recital budget expense included in, my skepticism was even worse.

Recital Beginner Digital Piano
If you would like to get your child a piano for their lessons then this is the one to get. It is affordable and has the features needed to make learning fun. It is full sized with all 88 keys of the piano and comes with semi-weighted keys. Though I prefer weighted keys, a beginner can learn how to control the pitch with these before advancing to a piano that has weighted keys. This piano has a maximum of 128 polyphony. It comes with acoustic piano, synth, bass, electric piano and organ voices built-in so users can create the music they want. The layer mode allows more than one voice to be combined for richer tones. One feature that I love about the Alesis Recital is the lesson mode which makes it very easy to teach. With the mode on, the keys are divided into two zones with the same voice and pitch. This allows me to play at the same time as my students so they learn as they practice. One of the fastest learners I ever taught had this piano.
Alesis Recital Review: Best 88
Alesis isnt a household name when it comes to the digital piano industry, but theyve made a name for themselves in the realm of digital audio.
While their current product line consists of audio interfaces, speakers, and electronic drum kits, were going to focus on their digital pianos and keyboards.
The name Alesis isnt synonymous with high pedigree, but theyve made a niche for themselves targeting the entry-level market.
With their products, they aim to offer more for your money when compared to their competitors.
That said, theres a reason Alesis isnt as well known, and its not just that theyre new to the scene. Quantity doesnt equal quality, and while experiences are subjective, Ive never found Alesis keyboards to be particularly good.
When Alesis released their new line of keyboards, I was a little worried. Unweighted keys are a lot easier to get right, as semi-weighted keys add a layer of mechanical complexity. Add the Alesis Recitals budget cost to the mix, and I became even more skeptical.
Ill say this though the Alesis Recital has the advantage of being one of the few budget keyboards with semi-weighted keys.
Not many keyboards in this price bracket can make that claim, so its particularly enticing for people looking for a budget practice option.
Thats not as positive a start to our review as usual, but were not here to judge the Alesis Recital based on my prior experiences.

Our Verdict On The Alesis Concert 42
The Alesis Concert is an excellent keyboard piano why? Because its so cheap.
There are better choices for another hundred dollars or two, but if on sale under $300, the Concert is the one for us.
Everything it does, from the sound to the feel, is better than the price would suggest.

Alesis Recital Review Is It Worth The Investment
Alesis is known for their ground-breaking studio equipment and electronic instruments, so it is no wonder that the Alesis Recital is a great digital piano. The Alesis Recital is one of three digital pianos made by the company.
While it is not as sophisticated at the Recital Pro and Coda Pro, the Recital has the advantage of being designed for amateurs as well as experts. In addition to the other digital pianos, the Alesis Recital joins a varied product line of drums, percussion, recording, and live sound equipment.

General Review Of Alesis Recital 88 Key Digital Piano

The Alesis recital has the best sound. It provides you with five sounds to work with, both clear, clean, and ideal for new learners. Having better sound is a must because you will need to hear the playing mistakes you make.
The sound is well sampled and delivered with the right amount of variation via multisampling. The 10W speakers might also contribute to the excellent delivery. However, the Alesisâ piano sound might fall behind slightly compared to other keyboards, which are more expensive.
Furthermore, you can decide to listen to the sound through headphones.
The design of Alesis recital 88 key makes it bulkier than any other keyboard. The semi-weighted keys and its dual 10W speakers contribute to its bulkiness.
If you might have plans to buy a portable option piano, Alesis recital is a great portability option.
The keyboard is complicated to evaluate. There are no specific points of reference to work with. Hence you need to have some analogies to get the points. The keys also have a certain degree of semisolid material, which can easily obstruct you when playing the keyboard.
The semisolid material seems to offer some cushioning at the keypresses deep-end, making the sound not to feel natural in either way. However, the piano has 88 keys, which are quite impressive even to experienced players. Unlike other keyboards with 61 keys, which limits the skills needed to play quality sounds.

Unboxing The Alesis Recital
The Alesis Recital, with an amazing body style, was created with the beginner in mind. This keyboard is perfect for anyone looking to hone their skills as a pianist without having to shovel out hundreds of dollars.
Upon first look, you will notice the almost futuristic design of the keyboard. It comes fully equipped with LED buttons to complete the design quite nicely. Its lightweight and slim physique makes it incredibly easy to store and looks very nice in most living spaces.
The electronic keyboard comes stock with 88 full-sized semi-weighted keys with adjustable touch sensitivity functionality. This gives the user a realistic and natural touch so that they can feel as if they are playing on an actual acoustic piano. Youre of course never going to be able to simulate the touch of an acoustic piano on an inexpensive keyboard like the Recital, but this does a decent enough job given is incredibly low price. Dont expect magic or fireworks in this department thoughyoud have to spend a lot more money to get a much more true to like acoustic piano simulation.
The keyboard also comes complete with five stunning built in instrument voices, such as the acoustic piano, electric piano, Organ, Synth, and Bass, giving you a wide range of musical capabilities. You can also take any of these voices and customize them to your personal preference by combining any two sounds in the Layer Mode.

What Are Semi
Semi-weighted keys are keyboards that can combine the synth sound action mechanism with an additional lightweight attached to each key. The semi-weighted keys are better for beginner players who do not require a weighted keyboards full resistance. The following features explain semi-weighted keys better.
Are Semi
It is challenging to come up with a conclusion of whether the semi-weighted keys are right or not. But they can be of great use to some specific users. The following are some of the functions that quantify its goodness.
1. Key utilization The semi-weighted keys utilize light weights attached to every key and provide moderate resistance. The keys system is mostly found in the synthesizers, which are advanced digital pianos with more functioning techniques.
2. Sound production Using these semi-weighted keys, you can recreate sounds from various traditional instruments yet to be produced. A long-term experienced pianist can utilize these techniques well but not for a beginner. Besides, the Semi-weighted keyboard of the synthesizer pianos can significantly create sounds. And are mostly used by DJs, composers, performers, and music producers.
3. Users Semi-weighted keys are not recommended for beginners. Because of their high key resistance, which might seem irritating to the new learner during practice. The semi-weighted can be very tiresome, and it only fits the most experienced pianists and with high piano skills.
4. Training For training and practice, you do not require these keys. They will seem to be more technical. Thus you need a step by step practice to sound production. These keys also have the right synth keyboard with a boundless imagination, good playing experience, and its possibility to create classical music are endless.
